Servatur Montebello in Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria), Gran Canaria

The apartments at Servatur Montebello come with large terraces that include sun loungers, a parasol, a table and chairs, and in some cases an inbuilt bench. Kitchens have a 2-burner electric hob, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and a coffee maker. Each room has a safe and a private bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, and the balcony has been described as big enough to fit a football team.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated and open all year round, with a shallow end and a fence around it. The pool area includes a solarium, sun loungers, sun umbrellas, a lifeguard on duty, and views of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel also has a games room with billiards.

Servatur Montebello is located on a hillside in Puerto Rico, 700 metres from Puerto Rico beach and within a 10-15 minute walk to the commercial centre. The complex has multiple access gates on different levels, which cuts out some uphill walking. Taxis from the centre to the hotel cost around 4 to 5 euros, and a taxi rank is located outside reception.

The property has a minimarket on site, a vending machine, a currency exchange, and a car hire service. Guests have access to lockers, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes, with 24-hour security and CCTV in common areas and outside the property. An airport shuttle is available, and the hotel offers free WiFi throughout the complex.

The pool bar serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks, including a full English breakfast and cocktails, at reasonable prices. The restaurant is closed during the summer season. The poolside cafe provides an alternative dining option with a terrace next to the swimming pool.
